Storytimes present fun, educational stories to children while encouraging them to read on their own. Storytimes often include hands-on activities for participants, such as crafts, dramas, and snacks.

Homework
Help with research is available at the Library after school and on Monday and Tuesday evenings. Library staff will help students of all ages research books, on-line catalogs and the Internet. Web Sites for kids connects students to helpful Internet sites from home and the Library.
Summer Reading
ProgramBlue Earth County Library System’s summer reading program offers exciting and educational activities, as well as provides a reading challenge for children and teens for ten weeks during the summer. Kids of all ages are encouraged to sign up.
