Volunteering
Available Volunteer Opportunities
Consider volunteering at the Blue Earth County Libraries. Throughout the year, the library has special projects and events that require extra help. During those times, the library will ask for your participation.

Examples of Volunteer Activities:
  • Shelving books
  • Shelf reading
  • Cleaning
  • Assisting with activities and events
  • Summer Reading Program

To apply, complete the Online Volunteer Request Form.

The library will keep Volunteer Request Forms on file and will contact you for your participation in a project or event based on your time and availability.

Other Opportunities
The Friends of the Deep Valley Libraries also need volunteers to assist in sorting donated material, helping with Book Sales and working in the Pages Past Book Store. For more details check out their website or contact them at (507) 304-4005.
