Bookmobile
Approximately 2,500 adult and children's books, magazines, and large print books are on the Bookmobile. The entire collection of the Blue Earth County Library System is available to Bookmobile users, as well. Bookmobile staff will take requests for materials not on board.

Checking Out Materials on the Bookmobile
Library Cards:
Cards are issued free of charge and valid for three years. To apply for a card, you must complete a registration form and present valid identification. Cards must be presented to check out materials. Library cards are not transferable, and you are responsible for all materials borrowed with your card. Replacement charge is $1.
Loan Periods:
All materials on the Bookmobile, EXCEPT interlibrary loan (ILL) videos, check out for four weeks. The due date is on a small sticker on the front of the item.
Renewals:
All materials, EXCEPT interlibrary loan (ILL) materials, may be renewed two times UNLESS someone else has requested them. You may renew Bookmobile materials in person by bringing them (and your library card) to the Bookmobile. Materials may also be renewed by phone (507) 304-4010. Please have the materials and your library card at hand when calling.
Notices and Fines:
Notices are sent out when books are sixteen days overdue.
Returns:
Materials may be returned to any Public Library in Southern Minnesota. Please do not return Bookmobile materials to a school library.
Notification of Schedule Changes
Scheduled stops may be canceled due to bad weather or mechanical problems.For your convenience, cancellations and new dates are announced over the following radio and TV stations:
