    The Blue Earth County Library System is participating in this year's festival that celebrates Minnesota authors and books! All LIVE programs including the opening and closing announcements, giveaways and drawing are available to view on Zoom beginning October 3. An easy "how to" video to sign up for Zoom will be available on our website soon: www.deepvalleybookfestival.com All pre-recorded programs will have a link to the program on YouTube. The program title on the schedule will be linked at the scheduled release time. After the release, this video will remain on YouTube to be viewed at a later time. The programs will be able to be viewed until December 31, 2020.

    This session will enable participants to learn about the cultural significance of the Day of the Dead, or All Souls Day. You will work with Cindy from ArtStart to create a colorful wire and clay sculpture, remembering special ancestors who have passed away. Ages 16+ or as a family project with a parent. Limit of 12. Registration required beginning on October 5 by calling 507-304-4002. You must be able to pick up a kit from 10 am to 5 pm on October 12. This project is made possible with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund and the people of Minnesota for Library Legacy activities.
